Get to Know Us

Both Chaplains Marshall and Marion have served in ministry in whatever capacities they have been called to.  However, God placed the trucking ministry on their hearts many years ago, so they are thankful and elated to now serve in the Truck Chaplain ministry in addition to their other ministry assignments.

Chaplain Marshall

Chaplain Marshall gave his life to Christ on a Coast Guard Cutter in 1982 in the Bering Sea of Alaska. Through faith and standing on the promises of God, he went from a Mess Cook to a C-130 Pilot in the United States Coast Guard (USCG). While on terminal leave for retirement from the USCG, he studied for his CDL.  He worked for GDC after getting his CDL.  In January 2002, God blessed him to receive an offer of employment from Southwest Airlines where he still serves as a Captain.

Chaplain Marshall is a 2005 graduate of Victory Christian Ministries International (VCMI), Victory Bible College.  He currently teaches Apologetics at Victory Bible College.   He was ordained as a VCMI Elder in 2007 and also teaches for the New Covenant Partners and Firm Foundations ministries.  He plays bass guitar for the VCMI praise team and serves as a member of the Men of Valor Praise team.  His favorite ministry assignments include teaching and counseling.

Chaplain Marion

Chaplain Marion’s father was a pastor so she gave her life to Christ at an early age.  However, she recommitted her life in the early 1990s.  Marion’s career included working for the State of New Mexico; City of Clovis New Mexico; and finally the Federal government.  She worked for several Federal agencies and retired from the Smithsonian Institution as a Human Resources Manager.   She currently teaches Human Resources as a contract consultant for Management Concepts.   She received her CDL from the Commercial Drivers School in Woodford, Virginia in November 2017.

Chaplain Marion also attended VCMI, Victory Bible College (VBC) and graduated in 2005.  She was ordained as an Elder in 2007 and currently teaches Comparative Religions (an extension of evangelism) at VBC; New Covenant Partners; and Firm Foundations at VCMI.  Her favorite ministry assignments are teaching the Word of God, evangelistic outreach with VCMI Fishers of Men, and leading the VCMI Women’s Prison Ministry.
